Personal Milestone Meets Racing Ambition as Conor Cummins Starts New Team
Isle of Man racing star Conor Cummins has announced the launch of his own team, Conrod Motorsport, for the 2026 Isle of Man TT Races. The move marks a bold new chapter in his career as he prepares to celebrate two decades since his TT debut.
The new team takes its name and inspiration from Cummins’ successful Douglas-based coffee business, Conrod’s, which was established in 2015. This venture signals the bringing together of his business identity and his racing career.
🏁 Initial Plans and Ambition
The initial programme for Conrod Motorsport will see the team contest the two Superstock TT races in 2026 on a machine yet to be confirmed. Cummins is currently reviewing his options for the Superbike and Supersport classes.
“I’m really looking forward to the new challenge of running my own team. It’s a big step and a bit of a leap into the unknown, but now feels like the right time, and I’m really excited to be bringing my two passions together,” said Conor.
Despite the tough competition, Cummins is confident: “I’ll be bringing all that know-how together to make sure I’m in the strongest possible position when it’s time to go racing.”

Cummins remains one of the Mountain Course’s most consistent and respected competitors, boasting 12 career podiums. His success in the Superstock class is particularly noteworthy, including a third-place finish in 2010 and a superb runner-up spot in 2022. That 2022 performance also delivered a major milestone: a personal best lap speed averaging 133.116mph, making him the sixth-fastest TT rider of all time.
