In the Isle of Man, motorists drive on the left-hand side of the road. This driving tradition aligns with the United Kingdom’s practice and is an important aspect to keep in mind if you plan to explore the island by car or other motor vehicles. Adhering to the left side of the road ensures a safe and smooth journey as you navigate through the scenic landscapes and charming villages that the Isle of Man has to offer.

The Isle of Man TT, a world-renowned motorcycle racing event, unfolds on the Isle of Man, an enchanting island situated in the Irish Sea between Ireland, England, and Scotland. This picturesque island is known for its captivating landscapes, charming villages, and a rich historical legacy.

The heart-pounding TT races take place on the challenging Snaefell Mountain Course, a 37.73-mile circuit that winds through the island’s diverse terrain, creating a unique and exhilarating experience for both riders and spectators.

As the engines roar and the excitement builds, the Isle of Man TT beckons motorcycle enthusiasts from across the globe to witness the thrilling spectacle at the crossroads of Ireland, England, and Scotland.

Most sporting events charge an entry fee for the area controlled by the promoter plus extras if you want a grandstand seat or access to paddocks or special viewing areas.

The Isle of Man TT races and Classic TT races are different since the 37.7 mile course provides many locations where public spaces are alongside the track or friendly landowners permit viewing from, and in some cases parking on, their land. There are also some businesses – including 13 pubs – around the course which allow free viewing from their sites.

If you prefer to have some guaranteed facilities, there are grandstands and fan-zones around the TT Course, where, often for a fraction of the costs of a major Grand Prix event, you can enjoy a reserved seat with great viewing, wifi, results screens, catering and the all-important toilet facilities.
